We had a mold problem in our home and felt it was finally time to do something about it. So we began researching mold companies and found this company Certified Black Mold Removal on line. After speaking with them over the phone they sent us an inspector to view the damage. A very knowledgeable man by the name of Eric came to our house to see what needed to be done. Keep in mind we had someone else who claimed to be a mold specialist look at it first and he told us we had major problems and quoted us almost $15,000 to fix our problem. What I really liked about Certified Black Mold Removal was that they recommended testing in our house to see if the mold has gone into the air. We have two small children and wanted to be sure that they were not going to bet sick from the mold. A few days after the tests were taken, the manager Robert called us back and told us that the ceiling in our crawl space was moldy, however the walls and the first floor wall beams were fine. He also told us that the mold had not spread into the air so we were very relieved to know this. He quoted us $3,500 to fix the problem and we ended up saving about $10,000. Need I say more? We will be highly recommending Certified Black Mold Removal in the future, that's for sure!

This company did a great job! We had a plumbing leak in our basement which caused a mold problem. It's not every day that I decide to write a review on the experience I have with a company but when I had Certified Black Mold Removal come out and fix a mold problem that I had long neglected, I was extremely impressed! The owner spent a lot of time answering all of my questions about how he thought the mold got there, whether he thought it was dangerous to my health or not and on what needed to be done to fix the problem so that it wouldn't come back. He didn't try to scare me like the first company that I had in to look at it. Now that the work is completed I am happy to say that I chose the right company to fix my problem. This company did a great job! We had a leak in our basement from a broken hose to out washing machine and ended up with a half foot of water in our basement. I quickly looked on line and found Certified. They came out in about an hour and pumped out the water, pulled up our carpet, cut the wet sheetrock out and left fans in the basement for several days to dry everything out. I must say, they were one of the most professional contractors I have ever used! They even took the time to help us with our insurance claim. We hired Certified Mold Removal to inspect our home for mold since we were getting sick and our family doctor thought it might be toxic mold causing the problem. Eric came out to our house and after testing the air we discovered that Dr. Stern was right. We had a large amount of the bad type of mold in the air. After receiving this bad news they came back the next day and set up these big air scrubbing machines that sucked it all out of our house. First and foremost the purpose of this post is to commend Robert and his employees from Certified Mold Removal for a job well done. With that said, we have a vacation home at the Jersey Shore that was flooded during a nor-easter last fall. First off we thought we had done everything right at that time. We called in a contractor who ripped out the walls and the insulation under the house and then he sprayed everything for mold. Then after the insurance checks came in we had our builder go down to rebuild our beach house. This is when he told us that there was a bad mold smell in the house. We immediately called a so called mold specialist and he told us we needed over $18,000 worth of work done to fix the problem. We then decided to get a second opinion and called Certified Mold Removal. Eric met my wife and I at the house and tested everything. It turned out that the problem wasn't nearly as bad as what the first mold company told us. It turned out that about half of the things that the free mold inspection company told us to do were completely unnecessary. It ended up costing us about half of the first quote and Robert and his crew did a great job fixing our problem. We are now in the process of rebuilding and hope to be down for 4th of July weekend. I wrote this so that anyone who has a mold problem can call Certified Mold Removal and to ask for Robert. They will do a great job for you.

Our offices were flooded during Hurricane Sandy and after researching mold removal companies on-line and after speaking with several I chose to hire Certified Black Mold Removal. I dealt with the owner Robert and we were very impressed with all aspects of the relationship. The first thing he did was spend several hours evaluating all of the damage to our building. He then met with myself and our CEO. Robert was very patient in explaining the entire process from the testing to the diagnosis to the removal process. We decided to have him proceed with the work that he recommended and everything went as smoothly as can be expected. The mold removal technicians were very accommodating to our staff during the entire process. They worked well around our busy office environment. The work was very well done and the cost was also very reasonable considering how much work was necessary to complete the job. I believe that when a company performs a service as well as Certified Black Mold Removal did, other people should know about it. This is why I will highly recommend them in the future for anyone who has a mold problem!
